What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse - Home Health position at HUMBOLDT TRINITY HEALTHCARE?
The Home Health Registered Nurse has strong clinical skills and is able to provide a wide range of clinical services including health assessment, teaching, medication review, treatments, and counseling in the home. The RN encourages both patient and family involvement, fosters independence, and supports community involvement including referrals to agencies that support patients to remain safely at home.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Current California RN license in good standing
· Current BLS and ACLS certification
· Current California driver’s license, possession of a reliable car, safe effective driving skills and current auto insurance
· A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed vocational nurse is required
· A minimum of one year of experience in home health is desirable
· Compassion and respect for patients, without bias
· Emotional stability associated with fast paced responsibilities, rapidly changing priorities, creative problem solving, emotional demands of patients and their families
· Maintaining effective working relationships with peers, physicians and other health care workers is essential.
Wages are based on prior related experience. We offer a full benefit package that includes full health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription drug) at no monthly cost to full-time employees, and with a minimal monthly cost for family coverage.
