Summary

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Hummingbird, you will be an integral part of the Talent team, responsible for creating job postings, assisting with sourcing and screening candidates, and providing administrative support and coordination. You will ensure a seamless and positive experience for all candidates and support the team in various recruitment activities.

Responsibilities

Compensation: Starting at $28.00 per hour , based on experience.

Work Location: This position is remote. You must work from a location within the United States with consistent internet service.

Travel: occasional for company events

Administrative Support and Coordination

  • Monitor and manage the Applicant Tracking System (Workday Recruiting), ensuring accurate and up-to-date candidate information.
  • Manage the Talent email inbox and provide communication updates as appropriate.
  • Work with the Talent team to plan logistics for hiring events.
  • Support the background check and reference check processes.
  • Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics and activities.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of recruitment-related documents, such as offer letters, rejection letters, and job descriptions.

Candidate Management

  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing information on interview logistics, timelines, and next steps.
  • Provide candidates with feedback and updates on their application status.
  • Schedule interviews and candidate assessments.
  • Coordinate interview logistics, including technology and interview panel availability.

Job Postings & Social Media Presence

  • Create engaging job posts to engage potential candidates and drive talent to the company.
  • Promote job openings and company culture on social media platforms.
  • Assist with the development of the company’s career branding strategy for social media.

Talent Sourcing and Screening

  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand position requirements.
  • Search for and develop your skills in identifying qualified candidates for open positions through job boards, social networks, niche platforms, and other avenues.
  • Maintain relationships with promising past applicants to keep them informed of new job opportunities.
  • Develop a network of potential candidates through industry-related groups.
  • Review online portfolios and resumes to research and pre-screen candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate fit and provide a positive interview experience.

Required & Desired Skills

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2 years of experience in an administrative support or coordination role, ideally within recruiting/talent acquisition.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with candidate sourcing and job postings.
  • Ability to conduct initial phone interviews and assess candidate fit.
  • Experience coordinating and scheduling interviews.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Prior experience or exposure to talent acquisition workflows, including sourcing and screening.
  • Experience using Workday Recruiting.
  • Familiarity with professional social media platforms and employer branding strategies, including content creation.
  • Experience in developing candidate communication plans.
  • Knowledge of background check processes.
  • Experience generating and analyzing recruitment metrics and reports.
