Delivery Driver

Hungry Howie’s is looking for friendly, responsible, and team orientated delivery drivers to distribute products from our company promptly to our customers. At Hungry Howie’s, we are all about being professional and still being able to have fun and work in a friendly environment at the same time. No experience needed, we’ll provide training. Delivery Drivers receive an hourly wage and 100% of your tips. For this position you will be paid $10.00 in house and while on the road delivering. The hours are 11:00am to 7:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Checking and bagging the delivery order, and taking it in a timely matter.
• Answering phone calls in a welcoming manner towards our customers.
• Daily and nightly assigned cleaning tasks can consist of sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, stocking soda coolers, stainless steel wiping equipment, etc.
• Washing dishes, wiping food pans, folding boxes, preparing salads, etc.
• QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be at least 18 years of age with dependable transportation.
• Will need to get base access.
• Must have proof of a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and car registration required.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years with a driver's license.

Must possess basic literacy and math skills, valid drivers license and insurance. Detail oriented, good people skills and the ability to follow-up. Desire to learn and advance. Neat personal grooming and appearance with pleasing manner and interpersonal skills. Ability to deal pleasantly and patiently with customers and coworkers. Able to handle stressful situations for short periods of time. Able to stand for long periods of time.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering orders to our customers in a safe and efficient manner. Duties include but are not limited to, routing orders from computer dispatch station using the mapping system. While not on the road, drivers are responsible for assisting with inside duties such as; answering phones, order assembly, folding pizza boxes, washing dishes, and cleaning floors, and helping with food prep and other duties. Drivers are paid hourly, driver compensation, and tips.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES & REQUIREMENTS

This position requires minimal physical strength, may need to lift 25 lbs. occasionally. An individual can expect to stand for prolonged periods of time. Must have average visual acuity to perform daily job requirements. Must have average hearing to receive ordinary verbal communication. There are regular repetitive motions using hands, wrist, and fingers. Must be able to convey verbal commands and instructions frequently.
