As an Estimator, you'll be responsible for accurate project cost estimation, ensuring project success.
Estimator Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Data Analysis: Analyze project documents to determine cost factors.
- Quantity Takeoff: Calculate material, labor, and equipment quantities.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Manage vendor/supplier bids and negotiations.
- Cost Tracking: Monitor project costs and address budget variances.
- Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with project stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain organized cost records.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate cost-related risks.
Estimator Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in Aspen software required.
- 10 years of construction estimating experience needed, Owner’s Rep experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods.
- Analytical and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with time management abilities.
- Candidates may be able to work remotely from the Houston, TX area, but must be willing to periodically visit the construction site in Casa Grande, AZ.
