The IT Technician 1 is responsible for daily business of IT support for Hunter Communications customers as well as internal requests. Hardware, software, and network literacy required. Ultimately responsible for positive customer interactions as well as documentation of billable tasks, and fulfillment of project milestones. Must be a self-starter, able to keep track of tasks and meet growth expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Implement IT operations for internal and external customers.
- Documentation of work.
- Collaborate and coordinate with team members towards solutions.
- Support of hardware lifecycle from assembly to decommissioning of personal computers and peripherals. Maintain current, accurate inventory data.
- Respond to calls for service. Track and document requests and issues.
Inter-Relationships:
Works directly with office staff and customers.
Requirements
- Connectwise experience.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.
- Demonstrable technical diagnostic skills.
- Attention to customer service - active listening and attention to detail via telephone, email, and in-person.
