IT Specialists provide direct support to users across the organization. This can include helping set up hardware or software, diagnosing connectivity or data access problems, answering questions about hardware or software, and helping users access shared drives and devices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, mathematics, or engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT or database administration
- Experience working with following environments: Mac OS, Windows 10 & Windows Server 2012 operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange / Office 365, Network Storage, Azure, KACE 1000
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting various technical equipment such as laptops, video conferencing systems, mobiles, etc.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, HTML, XHTML, Java, SQL, PHO, etc.)
- Knowledge of contemporary hardware equipment and IT-related duties
- Follow written and verbal instructions
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide team members with information by designing methods to collect and retrieve data needed to do their jobs. Including creating applications to assist our team members to be able to service our customers
- Web programmer
- SQL Writer
- PHP Writer
- Identifies team member requirements by establishing personal rapport with company team members
- Organizes information by studying, analyzing, interpreting, and classifying data
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
- Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions
- Maintains historical records by documenting system changes and revisions
- Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Revise and create SQL as well as PHP reports from database by conferring with other analysts and programmers to code and retrieve data
- Maintains database by entering data
- Monitor VM Servers
- Set up new PCs printers and laptops as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
