Hunter Engineering Company is a world leader in automotive service equipment, offering state-of-the-art wheel alignment systems, wheel balancers, lift racks and more.  Hunter equipment is approved and used by vehicle manufacturers, automobile and truck dealers, tire dealers and automotive service facilities around the world. 

 

JOB SUMMARY:         

Evaluate, troubleshoot and repair all Hunter electronic and electromechanical components and systems.  Train servicemen, perform diagnostic telephone communication with field service department, and supply technical support for service department.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support field personnel and sales department with technical explanation and customer assistance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair Hunter Systems and components according to technical documentation and procedures.
  • Training of service personnel.

 

 

Qualifications

  • 1 - 2 years applicable experience desired.
  • Must have a basic understanding of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems, including computers and networking.
  • Prefer skills with bench hand tools, teaching and telephone diagnostics.
  • Good mechanical aptitude is preferred.
  • Good communication skills are desired.
