- State Inspection License
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Position Requirements: will vary on the level of experience and be discussed at the interview
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.
Position Preferences:
- Vocational technical school training or equivalent experience
- Automotive experience
- Medium and/or Heavy Duty truck experience
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (preferred) and must meet company insurability standard
Essential Duties:
- Function as a service technician who can perform minor repairs without supervision.
- Perform work as outlined on minor repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and performs the repair, as directed by a supervisor.
- Assist other technicians with major repairs.
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
- Examine the assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
- Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
- Document all required information for the successful completion of a warranty claim.
- Possess the ability to work in a team environment.
- Road test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician
- Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
