SUMMARY
The Philadelphia Regional Sales Manager report directly to the VP of Leasing and is responsible for meeting established sales goals by maintaining the current customer base as well as continually adding to that base through outside sales. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize this diversified workload.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of multi-person leasing sales staff.- Sales and marketing of Idealease /PacLease leasing department
- Assist the team in preparing an Annual Business Plan.
- Develops and implement a Leasing sales and marketing plan.
- Develop, assist and manage a systematic approach to leasing sales calls utilizing telemarketing, mailers, and personal customer visits.
- Develop and maintain relationships with large-volume rental customers.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales report to management as required.
- Assist in establishing Idealease/PacLease rates for various equipment types through market analysis.
- Approve, from the direction of the Supervisor, Lease deals that fall outside of established guidelines.
- Maintain a customer/prospect sales database.
- Maintain daily interactions with Sales and Service staff to ensure rental equipment is maintained according to company standards.
- Follows company procedures regarding credit policies.
- Monitor sales staff customer turndown logs.
- Communicate and cooperate with all department managers and personnel.
- Assist in the collection of past-due invoices as needed.
- Understand company policies and procedures.
- Attend company meetings and training as required.
- Eagerly participates in company-sponsored training events.
- Interact with customers professionally and courteously at all times.
- Promote an atmosphere and cooperation, teamwork, and goodwill with fellow employees.
- Displays honesty in all company-related dealings.
- Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment
- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention as directed
- Inspect facilities, operations, equipment, and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions and adherence to the law
- Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Sales and management experience (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (preferred) and must meet company insurability standards
