As part of the Commercial Digital Execution Execution Team, this role provides portfolio-level oversight for the roll-out of project/product solutions by ensuring that all facets of pre-deployment and business readiness activities have been completed and are ready for implementation and consumption. *This role will have a dotted line relationship with the CML Digital Change Manager leader and provide insight to forthcoming changes the development teams are introducing

Essential Functions:

• Develops and maintains an inventory of initiatives that are currently being executed, along with providing a cursory understanding of scope, schedule, and stakeholders impacted
• In partnership with IT and other supporting functions, identifies the appropriate quality controls and KPIs that need to be evaluated/completed before a major release
• Works with individual agile or project teams to ensure that business release management plans are developed and being executed
• Coordinates engagement with the appropriate segment/enterprise partners to ensure that preparations are made for colleagues and customers to receive new capabilities
• Ensures all legal, risk, and compliance activities have been completed and are approved prior to implementation
• Keeps Execution Director informed of potential deployment risks and ensures that impediments have been sufficiently addressed
• Identifies process improvements and works with internal partners to implement needed changes
• Facilitate or participate in Go/No-Go’s as requested
• Assists Delivery Teams or Execution Director with other duties as assigned

Required Experience

• BA/BS degree or equivalent
• At least 5 or more years’ experience working in a portfolio/program/release management capacity (business or technical)

Preferred Experiences

• Demonstrated knowledge of software development in an agile or waterfall environment
• Organizational agility with effective skills at building partnerships, and managing without authority
• Comfort interacting with sr. leadership and presenting results to all level of stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
• Technical aptitude with experience translating technical details/results into layman’s terms
• Direct experience working in a release management capacity; preferably in Banking or Financial Services
• PMP or other related certifications
• Use of Azure Dev Ops, LeanKit, ServiceNow, SharePoint, MS Office Suite of applications
