Description
This is a Product Group Manager position within the Digitally Enabled Customers & Colleagues (DECC) Channel Management team within Consumer & Business Banking. The DECC Channel Management team is tasked enabling the monetization of Huntington’s digital traffic and engagement, improving primacy and service, and making colleagues accessible to customers on their terms. This role will collaborate with line of business and product area stakeholders to develop concepts for Consumer & Business Banking product offerings through digital channels. Partnership and internal relationship management is a key aspect of the role as it encompasses supporting multiple product, service, and experiences solutions, as well as how the bank and its colleagues to communicate the offering to customers in digital, branch, and remote settings.
This role will be initially responsible for:
- Vetting potential concepts for investment in collaboration with business stakeholders (e.g. Product, Marketing, Sales Management) and digital experience owners; building business cases to quantify the benefit/rationalize the investment
- Act as a “Digital Storefront Champion” for proposed consumer product focused investments; establish alignment of interests among value stream leadership
- Prioritize backlog of potential concepts for execution within the Digital Enablement book-of-work
- Building an infrastructure to track KPIs/financial performance of approved investments against business case expectations and value stream commitments
- Participating in ongoing execution of concept portfolio to ensure that the build and delivery preserves the economic and strategic principles that driving the investment

- Ability to define the data necessary to answer strategic questions, solve a problem, or make a recommendation
- Ability to perform financial proforma analysis and spreadsheet modeling
- Ability to simplify work output at a summary level with crisp visuals in power point
- Strong presentation, collaboration, and communication skills
- Experience developing and presenting business cases
- Strong experience challenging the status quo while getting key stakeholders to buy in on change
- Tactical understanding of sales processes and how financial products and services are delivered in the real world
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 7 years of marketing, product management, or related experience, preferably in financial services
- Strong knowledge about deposit, lending, and investment products
- Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or other Business Relevant Master’s Degree
- Product management experience in financial services
- History of leveraging data, customer research, and competitive benchmarking to build business cases
- Hands on experience with pricing strategy and concepts of demand elasticity
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communications skills; written and verbal
- Knowledge and working experience in data manipulation tools such as SAS, R, SQL, Business Objects, or other tools to query large databases and manipulate large data files.
