Job Summary:
Hurley’s Custom Cabinets, Inc. is looking to hire a Cabinet Maker/Master Woodworker for full-time, year-round work.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Drawings/blueprints are evaluated with the shop manager.
- Set up and operate power tools and machines to cut and shape wood.
- Fit, glue, and clamp components together to form complete units.
- Sand or scrape surfaces to smooth and prepare them for finishing.
- Install hinges, catches, and drawer pulls.
- Organize, plan, and prioritize work.
- Estimate sizes, quantities, time, cost, or materials needed to assist Shop Manager and Shop Foreman.
- Think creatively.
- May travel to job sites to take measurements or install items.
- Maintains an orderly shop, changes light bulbs, and maintains tools & equipment to meet expected standards.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, methods, standards, and techniques used in skilled cabinetry work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, sketches, manuals, or work orders.
- Ability to meet schedules and timelines.
- Ability to work safely and productively.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, and to convey instructions to others.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with co-workers, architects, vendors, suppliers, and other professionals when needed.
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and related equipment.
- Possesses basic tools as per Employee Manual
- Shows up to work on time.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED and five to seven (5-7) years of experience.
