RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential –
- Monitor Healthy Roster System for the HutchCC Housing Office.
- Answer email and calls from coaches and students pertaining to COVID protocols for housing students and athletes.
- Coordinate with HutchCC Housing Staff on moving students to alternate living arrangement for isolation.
- Communicate with HutchCC COVID-19 team.
- Coordinate with coaches and students to visit HutchCC Student Health for testing.
- Maintain the student health voucher system.
- Manage student vaccination records.
- Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.
- Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.
Secondary –
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director and Assistant Director of Residence Life.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; AAS Degree preferred.
- Excellent computer skills required, with knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher.
- The ability to accept supervision/instruction, and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, faculty and the public.
- Excellent telephone and personal skills required; switchboard experience preferred.
- Excellent keyboarding skills required.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with many people.
- Physical requirements include the ability to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time; ability to perform hand motions for keyboarding, operating computer, answering telephones, and other office equipment; Excellent verbal, written and listening skills; ability to sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; use appropriate judgment and to apply tact and courtesy in difficult situations; ability to understand words and respond effectively and appropriately; Attentive to detail, accurately follow written and verbal instructions, work independently; ability to lift up to 30 pounds (care packages for students, as an example). Medium to light/Indoor work environment with a substantial amount of keyboarding required –

HOURLY WAGE and STATUS:
The hourly rate of pay is commensurate with qualifications as determined by HutchCC administration. The employee in this part-time support staff position will work 25-hours per week, Monday through Friday 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM. This position is not benefit eligible due to the part-time status. This position is non-exempt and at-will.
