What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Technician position at HW Staffing?
As an Assembly Technician, you will assemble assigned product parts on an assembly line by production guidelines. The Assembly Technician reads and interprets drawings, travelers, and bills of material, then uses measuring tools, crimp tools, wire-cutting equipment, and stripping machines to assemble products. In addition, the Assembly Technician cleans molds, performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards, and notifies management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED/equivalent
- Prior assembly experience required
- Training in J-STD-001, IPC-620
- Mechanical and Math aptitude
- Uses fingers and hands to manipulate small items
- Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
We are offering $20.00-$21.00 per hour, operating on 1st Shift on a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
