HX5 is seeking a qualified Server Hardware Engineer in support of the Hill Enterprise Data Center (HEDC) program at Hill Air Force Base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, installing, testing, implementing, and maintaining complex on-premise, hybrid or commercial systems.
- Ability to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that involve multiple interfaces and supporting data repositories leading the planning and designing of an organization's systems infrastructure.
- Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the system meet business/customers' requirements.
- Monitor the performance of systems and suggests improvements.
- Verify and review system related documents/reports including installation procedures.
Position Requirements:
- Active DoD Secret Security clearance
- Masters Degree in related professional field
- 7 Years of Experience
- Active DoD 8570-01 M Iat Level II certification, Security prefered
- Microsoft Certified Windows Server Administrator
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator
Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
Minimal travel may be expected; this may include air travel
