HX5 is currently seeking an Software Engineer to join our team at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, in support of the Special Operations Forces Program Office.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Will support software development activities for defining, developing, testing, and fielding Operational Flight Program upgrades.
• Will provide support in developing system performance requirements.
• Will support software safety analysis and assess new and modified functionality of all systems for flight critical, flight essential, or safety critical.
  
  

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Three (3) years of related experience.
• Two (2) years of DoD experience in avionics, software, or test.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Project
  
  

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
• Must be able to travel, including air travel.
