PURPOSE AND PERFORMANCE GOALS
Provide quality, value-added professional service in the culinary department to enable the restaurant department to exceed brand standards for food service, guest helpfulness, and guest friendliness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- · Ensures guest satisfaction by providing clean and properly set up tables in a timely fashion.
- · Removes used china, glassware, silverware, and cloth napkins from tables as soon as guests depart.
- · Transport dirty dishes to dishwasher area, and napkins to used linen receptacle.
- · Thoroughly clean and reset tables for incoming guests.
- · Sweep underneath and around tables as needed and vacuum dining room thoroughly at the end of shift.
- · Cleans bus trays, trash cans and trash can compartments thoroughly at the end of shift.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES – Not applicable
HOURS
Due to the business demands of the hospitality industry, and the fact that the hotel provides guest services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, any employee may be required to work rotating shifts, including weekends, night shifts, and/or overtime. Also, depending on business demands, hours may be reduced at any time.
