What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at Hyatt Place Colorado Springs Downtown?
The Hyatt Place Colorado Springs Downtown is currently hiring for an Operations Manager to help oversee the daily operations of the hotel. In this position the Operations Manager works primarily with the housekeeping and breakfast departments in the hotel. They assist in HR functions such as hiring, termination, training, coaching & counseling of associates, scheduling to ensure coverage of all shifts, inventory and supply management, guest relations, champions the World of Hyatt program, ensures that clean rooms are available for guests at designated check in times, cleans & inspects guest rooms, assists in laundry as needed and works with maintenance to ensure completion of work orders and preventative maintenance.
The Operations Manager position does require the ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours, work for extended time on computers, utilize Microsoft office and hotel computer applications, bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, walk up and down stairs and lift between 20-30 pounds independently.
This position does require weekend work and flexible schedules.
