Description

Our Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking all food items according to menus and expediting orders quickly and correctly.
What we are looking for :
- Follow instructions of Chef and Sous Chef.
- Ability to read orders from the point of sales system.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques for seafood stocks, grilling, sautéing, and deep frying, as well as cold food prep.
- Knowledge of basic prep functions- i.e. cleaning greens, prepping vegetables and cutting skills for all fresh produce and fruit.
- Be able to cut, dice, julienne, brunoise, med dice, large dice, and slice fresh fruit and produce.
- Knowledge of equipment and food.
- Knowledge of proper cooking procedures.
- Knowledge of proper knife handling and techniques.
- Understand all prep duties, how to run line if needed, and work middle station during busy times.
