This role is accountable for developing and executing integrated, omni-channel regional & college marketing strategies to support regional member registry recruitment goals and create consistent brand experience with target audiences. The primary focus is to drive significant growth in diverse and college markets by leading a team of marketers and marketing specialists to development and implement recruitment strategies. This role will lead a matrixed, cross-functional regional & college program marketing team and partner with teams and resources outside of the department. The outcome will be significant growth of the member registry with young, committed, ethnically diverse individuals. This position can be remote (US) or hybrid.  #LI-Remote #LI-Hybrid

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Leadership:

  • Manages, coaches, and develops regional senior marketers, marketers, marketing specialists, and contractors/interns.
  • Partners closely with regional leaders to ensure appropriate marketing support and technology-based tools are available and implemented effectively.
  • Works closely with National Marketing and Central Marketing leadership teams to integrate marketing strategies and goals across the enterprise.
  • Performs ongoing team coaching and performance feedback, manages goal setting and annual review process.
  • Provides data-driven campaign updates to the senior director with recommendations on course corrections.
  • Understands emerging trends; capitalizes on opportunities and addresses threats in efforts to expand market share.
  • Collaborates with regional engagement and enrollment senior leaders to align marketing strategies with target audiences and related strategies.
  • Identifies efficiencies and opportunities for cross-functional collaboration across marketing and vertical leadership.
  • Identifies and cultivates relationships with relevant external contacts to drive new business or collaboration opportunities (agencies, regional leadership, marketing, etc.)
  • Cultivates a culture that ensures high levels of team health and engagement.
  • Co-leads annual marketing and drive-time planning process and template development.

 

Marketing:

  • Develops annual marketing strategies to achieve regional member enrollment (recruitment) goals and improve member commitment.
  • Ensures development, implementation, and execution of the regional marketing strategy to achieve short-term and long-term acquisition goals to continually expand market share.
  • Collaborates with channel and digital marketing teams to create integrated national and regional marketing plans.
  • Collaborates with programs and partnerships leadership to develop and execute lead generation strategies.
  • Develops engaging and educational strategies and content for member enrollment (field recruitment) teams.
  • Researches and recommends new and innovative marketing tactics and programs to drive member enrollment (donor recruitment).
  • Actively manages the regional marketing team annual budget.
  • Expands internal capabilities to support member enrollment and engagement:
    • New market development
    • Gatekeeper journey development through Marketing Cloud
  • Partners with Data Analytics & Insights (DAI) team to identify new leading indicators for marketing and sales funnel to drive additional optimizations in the process.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

  • B2C and B2B Marketing

  • Project Management

Education and/or Experience:

  • B.A. in Marketing or other closely related field
  • 2-5 years managing cross functional teams
  • Experience working with clients or leaders from multiple backgrounds and disciplines
  • Experience in building integrated marketing programs
