Summary: The mentor is responsible for the planning and execution of the day to day activities of the new hire mentoring program

Job Responsibilities:

• Work in a safe and efficient manner
• On the job training of new employees (either directly or indirectly)
• Make new employees feel welcome and a part of the Hydro Team
• Role Model in Safety and Teamwork
• Provide feedback to supervisor/manager on new employee needs
• Monitor new employee’s progress and provide verbal and written feedback to Department Manager

Job Requirements:

• Minimum two (1) years of service.
• Must be able to proficiently use computer programs and software such as MS Office, SAP, etc.
• Good Safety record
• Good Attendance record

Education and Work Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
