Job Summary: The Account Executive will report directly to the REDD Team Sales Manager. In this key role for REDD Team, the Account Executive is responsible for the overall sales and business development activities for the Mid-Western Region. This position has the responsibility for locating, developing and selling to those customers located in TX, OK, KA, NB, ND, SD & CO.
Required Education/Experience:
- 2 to 3 years’ of experience in front-line sales account management experience. Prefer experience in engineering or technical field.
- Related marketing or business degree or equivalent in education or experience. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience selling value-added access solutions; aluminum preferred
- Track record of interaction with manufacturing departments as needed to resolve customer related issues
- Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Sound knowledge, experience and skills in pricing, negotiation and contracts are required.
- Experience with ADA, IBC and OSHA codes.
- Experience in sales account management and building customer relationships.
- Must be able to interface effectively with sales teammates to coordinate and service customer needs.
- Problem solving skills
- Effective communication both verbally and written
- Travel 80% within region
- Excellent knowledge using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary facing with Customers – first contact – Represents REDD Team to customer base.
- Relationship Development of customers.
- Responsible for owning the region, aggressive growth required through business development
- Must competently be able to forecast.
- Product Quoting – Congruent with REDD Team Processing and Guidelines.
- Works with Customer Service Team members and Planning Teams to resolve customer issues.
- Coordinate with the Commercial Lead, Customer Service, Plant Manufacturing and Planning Teams to assure all specifics of the jobs have been communicated.
- Responsible for maintaining weekly updates and highlights for Mid-Western Region.
- Exhibit at tradeshows (as required)
