Accounting Analyst

Job Summary: The Accounting Analyst will apply accounting techniques and standard practices to classify and record financial transactions. This person will conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedures and help enhance business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. The Analyst may work on special projects if needed.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
• At least 2 years’ experience in all aspects of general ledger accounting
• Excellent Microsoft knowledge and experience (excel, word, PowerPoint, access)

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of SAP (S/4) and Oracle is strongly preferred
• Strong vertical communicator

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions
• Perform account reconciliations, analysis, and post journal entries as part of the monthly closing cycle
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information

• Preparation of monthly balance sheet flux analysis’s report and assist in providing follow-up

• Review and analyze assigned balance sheet/income statement accounts monthly for trends
• Ensure all monthly reconciliations are completed accurately, on-time and follow the agreed upon blackline framework.
