Summary: This position is for a Human Resource Coordinator in the Industrial Region at the North Liberty, IN location. This position reports to the Human Resource Manager at the North Liberty facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Human Resources related duties at the professional level and carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Payroll, Employee Relations, Benefits, Recruiting, Unemployment Compensation, FMLA, compliance with federal and state reporting and other related duties.
Job Responsibilities:
Leading and monitoring processes and procedures around Hydro payroll, timekeeping and other HR related systems
Accurately keeping all Human Resource related systems correct and up to date
Assisting with recruiting, staffing and placement functions for the facility
Administering the internal bidding process for hourly positions
Coordinating and providing accurate data reporting to local and corporate management
Determining effective strategies for addressing future needs in the marketplace
Serving as the daily HR contact and in the absence of HR Manager
Job Requirements:
Candidate must have at least 5 years’ proven and successful experience in HR administration. Previous payroll processing and time keeping experience required. ADP, Kronos and/or UltiPro(UKG) software experience is a plus.
Must be able to manage multiple projects and participate in team building activities
Must have experience in conflict resolution
Must have strong working knowledge of unionized manufacturing environment
Must have excellent communication and organization skills, must also be a self-starter
Fluency in English; any other language is a plus(Spanish)
Computer proficiency is required – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate on all levels
Education and Work Requirements:
Post-Secondary degree preferred or equivalent in previous experience
