Job Summary: The qualified candidate develops, implements, and coordinates Quality programs to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products by performing the following duties personally or through the quality team.
Establish process and product control requirements to monitor/enforce compliance of quality procedures

Required Education/Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years manufacturing experience.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Adept in blueprint interpretation and utilization of advance mathematical principles to ensure initial machine setups meet operational requirements
- Must be able to interpret blueprints and work to operation instructions
- Knowledge of all types of measuring devices used in performing first-article, in-process, and final part quality checks, i.e., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing, Kaizen events and continuous improvement techniques
- Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning & tolerancing
- Working knowledge of 4th axis rotary indexers on a CNC mill
- Familiar with Haas and Mazak CNC machines
- Working knowledge of CAD/CAM, a plus
- Must have working knowledge of Quality Standards
- Computer literacy required
- Knowledge of safety requirements within a manufacturing setting
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and monitor development of manufacturing processes
- Cooperates with other top management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals
- Develop initial and subsequent modifications of product assurance program to delineate areas of responsibility, personnel requirements, and operational procedures within programs
- Evaluates contents of reports from product assurance program department heads and confers with top management personnel preparatory to formulating fiscal budget for product assurance program
- Conduct management meetings with product assurance program department heads, to establish, delineate and review program organizational policies to coordinate functions and operations between departments and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives
- Review technical problems and procedures of departments and recommends solutions to problems or changes in procedures
