What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Architect position at Hyertek?
As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to build a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. You'll be working heavily in a research and development capacity across a portfolio of government grants that will heavily leverage cloud compute at the center of the solution set. On our team, you'll design, define, develop and debug cloud solution components. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment using current cloud capabilities. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with your client to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on premise, cloud based, and hybrid resources. You'll be the project cloud team lead supporting all design efforts.

You Have
5 years of experience with architecting and deploying applications on Azure, GCP, IBM, or AWS.
Experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestrationExperience with supporting enterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure
Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)Experience with automation tools
Experience with automation tools
Experience with data virtualization
Experience with enterprise class business intelligence / AI platformsExperience with automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in Cloud environment
Experience in working within and managing git-based version control systems, including Gitlab and GitHu
Ability to obtain government security clearances in the future
Bachelor's degree (minimum)
Cloud certifications (mandatory)
COMPENSATION
The likely salary range for this position is $110000 - $130,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
