The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Employee Benefits Service Team Leader, the Client Service Specialist is expected to have or develop employee benefit industry knowledge and is responsible for coordinating the ongoing day-to-day service function with Hylant's clients. The individual generally works very closely with the client's HR team in a client facing setting. S/He also works very closely with the Hylant Client Executive responsible for the overall account and thus, client satisfaction.

In This Role You Will Execute On:
This role is critical to the success of our client's benefit offerings to their employees. This role interacts regularly with the client's HR team and directs the day-to-day service items our clients look to us to provide. Much of this service should and needs to be proactive in nature and is the glue that binds us to our clients. We expect a Client Service Specialist to:
- Have excellent communication skills and command of the English language
- Comfortable working independently with the client's HR team to provide regularly required work product the client needs
- Work with the client to assist difficult claim issues employees may be facing that need an elevated level of support
- Be an active participant along with the sales leader in forming ongoing strategy for the programs
- Put into action the steps necessary to accomplish the agreed upon strategy and service items
- Willingness to learn new skills and procedures continually
- Ability to move from one project to another seamlessly
In This Role You Will Need:
The Benefits Service Specialist is responsible for working with the client directly to meet their service needs and to execute the Hylant service model designed for the client. This includes keeping the Client Executive and other team members informed of ongoing work product for the client, so the entire team is “in the loop”
- High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous employee benefits experience
- Accuracy of work product is a must
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize with effective results
- Be an excellent communicator
- Be personable and have a genuine desire to help and assist
- Ability to multi-task as there are often multiple client renewals taking place at the same time, especially January 1
- Analytical skills to allow for thoughtful resolution of client issues
- Be a team player as each client has multiple Hylant team members involved in their account
