Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UX/UI design principles 🎨 and proficiency in design software such as Sketch and Figma 💻. They should be well-versed in best practices and accessibility guidelines 📚 and experienced in user research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and user testing 🧪. Excellent communication and collaboration skills 🤝, along with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities 🧠, are essential. This role is suited for a designer who is proactive, self-driven, and curious 🌟, with 3-5 years of relevant experience 📅.

Responsibilities:

• Design Ownership: The candidate will take full ownership of the design process, ensuring all elements are consistent and adhere to brand guidelines 🎨. They should be comfortable challenging norms and asking insightful questions 💡.
• Product Design: Responsibilities include creating wireframes, user personas, user journeys, and high-fidelity designs using various tools 🛠️.
• Visual Design: They will design visual elements of user interfaces, such as buttons, menus, and icons 🖌️.
• User Research: The role involves driving user research, prototyping, validating, defining, and delivering solutions using design-led thinking 🧪.
• Collaboration: The candidate will work closely with the design-product-engineering triad to achieve successful outcomes 🤝.
• Branding Guidelines: The candidate will play a key role in rebuilding the website and setting the tone for the product and website’s brand identity 🌐.

30/60/90 Day Plan:

• First 30 Days: The candidates will familiarise themselves with the business and domain, get to know the team, and understand the design choices made for the transformation 📈.
• 30 to 60 Days: They will build a solid foundation for ongoing projects, collaborate with their triad to add value to current projects, and gather context for future roadmaps 🗺️. They will also choose a small project to lead and set personal goals 🎯.
• 60 Days Onwards: The candidate will have full team support to drive design initiatives and continue contributing significantly to the organization’s projects 🚀.
