Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Global HR Director, the Contract Recruiter will assist with coordinating our hiring process, sourcing qualified candidates, apply advanced interviewing techniques, and ultimately employ specialized recruitment skills while networking to help Hyzon bring the right people on board.
Responsibilities
- Handle high-level sourcing (LinkedIn Recruiter, Networking Events, Boolean searches, ) and the ability to leverage passive candidates through multifaceted internet searches and networking
- Collaborate with HR personnel and executive stakeholders to determine an ideal hiring and staffing strategy
- Create and implement a competitive recruiting plan including job boards, sourcing technologies, events, job descriptions, networking
- Utilize the applicant tracking system
- Support in internal and external recruitment activities including but not limited to information sessions, career fairs and internship initiatives
- Build strong candidate pipeline through proactive sourcing
- Ensure managers are regularly apprised of status of current openings and sourcing efforts
- Partner with internal clients to develop sourcing strategy for current and future needs.
- Innovate on ways to build a talent pipeline and recruit in a variety of venues
Requirements and skills
- Proven success as a recruiter
- Hands-on experience in the entire recruitment life cycle
- Industry hiring experience is a plus
- Familiarity with recruiting software (e.g. Applicant Tracking Systems) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
- Knowledge of effective hiring practices (e.g. social media recruiting)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Outstanding organization ability
- BSc in HR, Business or relevant field
