I-CARE, INC., a 501(c) (3), private non-profit organization based in Iredell County with programs in Catawba and Alexander Counties, is seeking to fill the following position. Official proof of education is required to be presented if an employment offer is made. Position open until filled. An I-CARE, Inc. employment application is required. Pre-employment drug screening and background check required. Additionally a physical and a TB test are required for all Head Start positions.
Position located at Southeast Head Start, in Statesville, NC and Newton Head Start, in Newton, NC
The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Minimum: Early Childhood Credentials (EDU-119), computer literate, experience working with pre-school children, good oral, written and organization skills, valid NC driver’s license and reliable transportation, able to periodically attend out of town conferences and training sessions.
Preferred: Child Development Associate Certificate(CDA), Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, birth to 5 years (or related field), computer literate
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
