What are the responsibilities and job description for the Greeter - Twin Cities Orthopedics position at i-Health/Revo?
The Greeter is responsible welcoming patients as they arrive for their appointment, guiding patients to the registration area, and fostering positive interactions.
This position part-time works every other Saturday and Sunday 8am - 8pm out of the Edina Clinic.
A $1,500 sign-on bonus will be offered, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for sign-on bonus.
Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions:
- Greet patients in a professional, friendly, and caring manner
- Guide patients to reception area
- Assist with patient registration and check in as needed, including collection of co-payments and insurance information
- Monitor patient needs in lobby
- Communicate regularly with Patient Services Representatives, care teams, and other clinical staff and provide support as needed
- Regularly monitor the greeter station
- Assist patients in calling for transportation
- Distribute medical records and prescriptions to patients
- Contact couriers for package delivery as well as lab pickups
- Monitor supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Provide support for additional administrative functions
- Any and all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- Customer Service experience
Essential Requirements:
Ability to:
- Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines.
- Complete job required training.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
- Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
- Work in the clinic during business hours
- Travel independently throughout the clinic (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
- Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
- Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
- Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
- Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Understand and execute a variety of instructions
- Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Travel to other work locations, if required
