We are looking to add a talented Shopify or WordPress web designer to our Los Angeles team; This position requires you to effectively communicate with clients and coordinate tasks between yourself and other team member to effectively move the projects from start to finish.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping is highly desirable skill
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
  • Excellent UI/UX design skills
  • Full understanding of product management on a website
  • Full understanding of an eCommerce platform (Word Pressor, Shopify, etc)
  • Have full understanding of wed development
  • Excellent verbal and written (phone and email) communication skills
  • Proven task management (both for self and the team)
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

Responsibilities

  • Communications (phone, email) with clients to gather design criteria
  • Task management (creating, assigning, monitoring)
  • Time Management (monitoring the progress of project)
  • Team Management (monitor team members' tasks and confirm timely progress for the entire life of a project)
  • UX/UI Design
  • Write HTML and CSS to create front-end user interface
  • Organize large amount of tasks, assign them, and monitor their progress
  • Monitor the work of other team members against deliverables
  • Verify the quality of work before the the submission for client review

i-Showcase, develops advanced B2C websites for the high-end jewelry retailers. With a team of over sixty-five programmers, UI designers, engineers, and marketers, i-Showcase is the leading digital agency within the industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
