What You’ll Do
We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales to join our Sales team, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. The ideal candidate will have experience building annual operating plans, programs, and budgets for product-led growth (PLG) companies, where the products are the driver of customer acquisition, conversion, and expansion. We have some of the biggest logos on the planet and have an incredible market fit with significant new business opportunities. Our Account Executive team leads the effort to increase our revenue through the acquisition of new logos with opportunities to sell enterprise wide. We are looking for a natural leader to oversee and continue to develop our world-class team of Account Executives. This individual will be responsible for supporting each sales team member to exceed sales goals trough the addition of new business. You’ll need to be able to communicate well, motivate team members and solve challenges. Main Responsibilities:
- Hire, onboard, develop, and lead a team of high-performing, inclusive, and coachable Account Executives (AEs) responsible for driving and closing new business opportunities while championing the customer’s interests, and exceeding performance objectives and sales goals.
- Help develop and execute on go-to-market strategies while focusing on building a repeatable selling process.
- Identify, retain, and coach, a world-class team of AEs on sales processes and techniques, successful communication, product knowledge, product demo improvement and sales best practices.
- Data driven approach to identify opportunities for improvement within the sales process
- Collaborate with cross-department leaders and team members, across time zones, to support the success of our sales goals.
- Work closely with Marketing to develop strategies for customer expansion, lead generation, and opportunity nurturing.
- Collaborate with the VP of Sales to produce revenue and KPI forecasts.
- Execute functional business plans and contribute to the development of Sales strategy
- Learn the company’s brand and product inside and out
- Analyze market trends and acquire buyer-related knowledge pertaining to corporate investigations

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong business acumen ideally with comprehensive industry knowledge in Government, Education, Health Care, Manufacturing and Finance & Insurance
- Experience training and developing new hires
- Experience with our tech stack (or similar) at leadership level; Marketo, LinkedIn Sales Nav, Zoominfo, Ringlead, Outreach, Salesforce, Gong, Vidyard, Docusign, GovSpend, JIRA, MS Office
