POSITON CONTRACT: PROGRAM DIRECTOR
The Program Director is responsible for the complete organization and execution of i9 Sport's business model in the Columbus market. The Program Director hires, trains, and manages Sports Directors, Site Managers, and officials. The Program Director is responsible for maintaining existing venue relationships, finding new venues, and scheduling venues. The Program Director is also responsible for the growth and profitability of the business.
Specific Functions
- Hiring, training, and managing Sport Directors
- Hiring, training, managing, and scheduling Site Managers
- Hiring and scheduling contract officials
- Scheduling field and court space with existing venues
- Sourcing and finding new venues based on the annual business plan
- Responsible for the net promoter score
- Responsible for building teams for the flag football leagues, sourcing, assessing, and assigning coaches, insuring a full coaching roster of coaches who believe in the i9 philosophy
- Responsible for assembling league supply orders and in working with purchasing to execute the orders
- Organize and execute coaches clinics
- Conducts coaches background checks
- Responsible for all league inventory tracking
- Insures an adequate supply of needed items at each event, each week, based on i9 standards
- Works with league operations and the Officiating Coordinator to modify the rules on a seasonal basis
- Responsible for handling coaching issues and concerns up to removing coaches from the program
- Insures all IQC’s that result from league operations
- Source and set up on site concessions from local community groups
- Insures that all sites are operating at or above the standards established by the league office
- Handles escalated customer complaints that cannot be resolved at the field
- Handles weekly supply replenishing and field set up
- Builds league schedules and handles re-scheduling of events cancelled due to weather or other issues
Standards
- Maintain 70% or better customer satisfaction
- Achieve annual revenue goals
- Achieve annual cost containment goals
- Stay at or below the seasonal and annual budget established by the Executive Director
- All events staffed every time.
- Everything from coaches meetings, to opening day, to weekly leagues happen on plan and on time. No firefights
- Spot checking of parental communication for accuracy and proper handling
- Maintaining adequate tracking of sellable merchandise with cash at 95% vs. inventory
- Holding coaches to the i9 standards
- League standards being met at events

The Customer Experience/Marketing Director is one of two key positions within i9 Sports/Elevate Basketball Academy. The position requires communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, creative thinking, customer skills, basic web skills, discipline, the ability to work unsupervised, and part-time employee management skills.
Specific Functions
- Calling on private schools and day cares for flyer distribution
- Turning in applications with school systems for flyer distribution
- Delivering flyers to school systems for distribution
- Attending select festivals and other in person events to promote i9 Sports to the community. Also responsible for set-up and tear down at these events
- Develop and execute a marketing calendar
- Flyer & marketing material creation
- Management of road sign placement
- Writing marketing eblasts and customer communications for both Elevate and i9 Sports
- Co-managing the local Facebook and Twitter pages for Elevate and i9 Sports
- Loading new programs onto the i9 Sports & Elevate Basketball web sites
- Coordinating Elevate Basketball programming with the trainers
- Management of the Elevate Basketball web site
- Building schedules and rosters for Elevate programs. Communicating with parents.
- Answering telephone inquiries during business hours (9:00AM – 6:00PM)
- Answering inquiry and customer service emails
- Customer review follow up
- Post season communication
- Processing payments, credits, refunds, etc.
- Recruiting and on-boarding volunteer coaches
- On boarding participants, managing special requests, etc.
- Business development for Elevate and i9 Sports
Standards
- Achieving the registration goals for each program
- Maintaining Net Promoter Score to standards
- Achieving revenue targets for Elevate Basketball Academy
- Maintaining our standards for communication, problem resolution, and uploading new programming
