DDI Technology is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the team at our facility in Irmo, SC.
DDI Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IAA, Inc, provides a complete automotive titling and registration suite for financial institutions and dealers. The Financial Analyst is accountable to the General Manager and Vice President responsible for highly analytical duties related to financial review and planning of DDI business operations and transactional activity, including budget planning and financial reporting.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):
- Prepares company financial statements, reports and records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing company account
- Monitors and tracks customer ACH transactions.
- Perform daily bank reconciliation for all customer transactions that occur via ACH.
- Balances and allocates bank transactions to ensure bank ACH processing is in compliance with same day and two-day ACH rules and regulations.
- Performs special bank reconciliation for state DMV transactional activity that pulls from DDI’s bank accounts.
- Creates, reviews and maintains QuickBooks general ledger entries to correspond to DDI transaction types for electronic title products, electronic registration products, and title and registration services.
- Performs ACH return processing.
- Post daily customer payments.
- Prepare and process bank deposits.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements.
- Reviews and prepares company business reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing company operational
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
- Assist in the company budgeting and expenditure planning processes.
- Assist in the preparation of cost and resource analysis return on investment proposals.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Performs other duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years' experience in a business financial environment or an acceptable combination of education and experience. Desired qualifications include experience in business, accounting, finance, and/or economics with strong skills in accounting and data analysis, and Microsoft Office tools with strong fluency in Excel formulas and functions.
