DDI Technology is seeking a Junior Developer to join our team in Irmo, SC
DDI Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IAA, Inc, provides a complete automotive titling and registration suite for financial institutions and dealers. The Junior Developer will be responsible for supporting the ERP system that is extensively used at our branches and by some departments within Corporate. This Junior Developer will be part of a Technical Level-2 Support group that provides root causes and workarounds, applies data fixes and generates custom reports for the end users.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply application knowledge, technical skills and critical thinking skills to find root cause and resolution for issues
- Under the direction of a Team Lead, resolve support tickets received from end users or Support Desk, within established SLA timelines.
- Communicate, in written and verbal form, with diverse audiences, internal and external to the IT department, in a clear and comprehensible manner
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree, relevant to Information Technology or related concentration
- 1-2 years of work experience in an application development or support role
- Experience working in a team development/support environment
- Hands-on experience of T-SQL and Powershell
- Good organization and time management skills
- General end-user technology support and troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience of .NET or similar technology is desired
- Knowledge of system development techniques and tools is desired
- Previous experience with a ticketing system is desired
