Training Specialist

DDI Technology is seeking a Training Specialist to join the team at our facility in Irmo, SC.

Professionally and courteously, provides personalized service, support and training to our customers; partners and internal staff. Work with other teams to ensure exemplary training to provide critical trainings, develop training materials and courses internally and externally.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing training materials to educate the support team on ways to streamline processes for EVR, ELT and TRS customers
• Provides advanced support for dealers and/or lienholders who require additional training and education beyond the standard support provided. Extra training includes but is not limited to, leading additional webinars, providing more training materials and scheduling onsite visits
• Handles intake calls from customers requiring extra clarification of state processes and also schedules further trainings when needed
• Works with Sales to stay informed of updates regarding EVR, ELT and TRS documents and transactions
• Assists the Customer Experience Manager in writing training materials for internal support staff and other departments when requested
• Handles and oversees the training for new hires in the Customer Service department
• Assists Account Representatives with key account management training along with an implementation specialist
• Assists in multiple areas of the business as dictated by need, including but not limiting to, assisting marketing and sales. Keeping ELT, EVR and other manuals, videos, state info sites and documents accurate and up to date. Works with technical writer and others to develop training programs
• Travels when required to off-site trainings, DDI offices, events and seminars instructed by management
• Records training videos using Adobe Captivate or other software
• Assist with data entry for special projects or high demand situations within the department
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows operating systems
• Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with publishing software
• Functional experience and knowledge of DDI operating systems
