IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for an Associate Contracts & Licensing Representative in one of the following IAT locations: Omaha, NE, Naperville, IL, Rolling Meadows, IL, or Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will play a key role managing agency and producer information, commission, product, and state authority in underwriting and financial systems. This role is also responsible for onboarding distributors, maintaining contracts, appointments, and licensing for various Business Units within IAT Insurance Group.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage agency data in underwriting and financials systems, including but not limited to adding new agencies and producers, updating agency and producer information, maintaining product and state authority for multiple business units
  • Analyze system issues and evaluate and implement solutions
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop system requirements, create procedures and improve current processes.
  • Create and maintain distributor contracts for all business units, including but not limited to obtaining and interpreting required documentation, creating new contracts, obtaining signatures, updating contracts, terminating contracts, and auditing all contract transactions for accuracy
  • Manually maintain company licensing and process appointments for multiple writing companies, employees, agencies, and producers
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with all business units and distribution partners with an ability to translate technical terminology into layman’s terms
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

Must Haves:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Equivalent is defined as a GED or 4 Years of industry-related experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate internally and externally
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to set priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
  • To qualify, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes

Preferred to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Working knowledge of Service Now, Duck Creek and OnBase
  • Experience with NIPR, SIRCON and State Department of Insurance Websites
