Job Summary:

Provides vault attendant services requiring direct customer interaction for the rental of new safe deposit boxes (SDB) to bank customers and thereafter providing vault access service to existing safe deposit box customers as well as the collection of annual box rental fees and other trust/stock related functions and duties.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Performs daily open/close process for SDB vault and ensures the timer of the Combination is set at end of day (with emphasis on daily, weekend and Holiday hours)

• Opening a new account for SDB that requires to obtain customers personal information such as: Name, Account #, SS#, Address, ID verification, and employment

• Utilizes Horizon software to enter customer data to create the SDB Lease Agreement

• Maintains SDB lease agreements for new and revised SDB rentals for the Laredo main bank

• Provides vault access to SDB customers and ensures verification of ID is completed

• Clears unposted SDB items for the Laredo market (all branches)

• Performs Laredo SDB monthly income reconciliation

• Assists with service/drill/inventory/escheat boxes to report to State

• Performs all sdb updates to Precision for Laredo market

• Reviews and research of unpaid/delinquent report items

• Performs collection of past due rental payments on boxes

• Receives and distributes incoming mail to respective areas of dept.

• Assist in processing received incoming Shareholders Stock certificates

• Research in software for the Initial Shareholder Stock listing ledger

• Images all cancelled stock certificates through IMS

• Assists Trust accountant with distribution & tax form mailings

• Supports shareholder area with dividend mailings

• Provides quarterly car mileage reports to officers at all markets

SKILLS

• Fluent in English and Spanish

• Active Listening and ability to pay close attention to details

• Well versed in Microsoft applications

• Good typing skills

• Good customer service skills
