We are looking for an ITS Specialist to join our expanding team to support current and new projects.
As a member of our growing team, you will have the opportunity to work on unique and leading-edge projects with a local focus to make a global difference.  You will work closely with the leaders of our team to execute and deliver innovative projects for our clients.

Most of the things you’ll work on:

• Feasibility assessments, requirements analysis, operational assessment, and research within the context of transport and information systems.
• ITS planning studies and functional designs
• Development of technology-based solutions for ITS projects.
• Creating and detailing concepts of operations.
• Client liaison and support.
• Project coordination.
• Report writing and presentations.

Qualifications

You'll need to have:

• A Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline; a Masters degree would be considered an asset.
• Registered EIT or eligibility of a P. Eng with EGBC or APEGA
• 4 years relevant experience.
• Understanding of transportation technology and systems, working knowledge of transportation operations, and the design of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
• Relevant experience in traffic, electrical or computer engineering will also be considered
• Experience in the national ITS architecture and network architecture is an asset
• Familiar with MS Office Suite, MS Project and Visio
• An understanding of Systems Engineering and Value Engineering principles would be an advantage.
• Ability to think independently, creatively, and critically; ease in working collaboratively with others in a team.
• Exceptional skills in listening, interpretation, and verbal and written communication.
