Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Third Party Administration (TPA) professional to provide delivery leadership with a focus on accounting, general ledger and tax administration, selection and implementation of key tools and systems required and product knowledge of life, health and annuity products including variable.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Insurance Third Party Administration experience (10 years)
- Experience working with third party vendors to implement accounting and reconciliation tools/systems.
- Reduce liabilities by accurately managing tax statements, mailings, journal entries, payments and transfers.
- Experience with remitting federal and state withholding requirements
- Perform comprehensive account assessments to check viability, stability and profitability of business operations.
- Engage employees in business processes with positive motivational techniques.
- Meet deadlines by proactively managing individual and team tasks and implementing standard level processes.
- Consult with representatives of regulatory agencies to complete accurate filings and uphold strict compliance.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Insurance Third Party Administration experience (10 years)
- Managed all areas of accounting, including accounts payable and general ledger management, banking reconciliations and monthly balance sheet statements. (4 years)
- Ability to track business revenue and expenditures and reconciled accounts to maintain high accuracy.
- Reduce liabilities by accurately managing tax statements, mailings, journal entries, payments and transfers.
- Experience with remitting federal and state withholding requirements Initiated comprehensive account assessments to check viability, stability and profitability of business operations.
- Manage accounting operations, including journal entries, collection efforts, and reconciliations.
- Investigated daily variances uncovered with reports and corrected errors to resolve discrepancies.
- Engaged employees in business processes with positive motivational techniques.
- Met deadlines by proactively managing individual and team tasks and implementing standard level processes.
