The CIO Network Engineering organization is looking for highly skilled and motivated individuals to further improve our network resiliency, quality, diversify our technology stack and embrace next generation networking. These changes will enable faster, smarter decision-making and deliver speed to value.
Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for network infrastructure, enabling efficient and scalable operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network architects, system administrators, and software developers, to ensure the seamless integration of network automation within the overall infrastructure.
Job Duties:
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience as a network engineer or administrator in running medium to large scale infrastructures.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Network architecture, design, or operations experience.
• Real-world understanding and application of advanced principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in network and communications engineering.
• Demonstrated architectural skills in developing and driving new solutions for large scale network infrastructures.
• Applied Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP, APF)
• Understanding of core Network technologies (Routing, Switching, Firewalls, etc.).
• Solid understanding of enterprise networks, i.e., Campus LAN/WLAN, MPLS WAN, SD-WAN, DC Architectures, Remote Access Services, and network tooling.
• Experience in technical leadership and setting directions for a distributed team of skilled professionals, which does not involve people management responsibilities.
• Experience troubleshooting complex network issues and designing solutions to simplify and better instrument solutions.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven and ability to work as a team and independently.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Understanding of network technologies and domain in LAN/WAN and across multiple products like Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and white box NOSes
• Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, VLAN, and QoS.
• Knowledge of datacenter networking technologies, including Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco ACI, and virtualization platforms.
• Define minimum viable product (MVP), assess value, develop use cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to derive maximum value from use cases.
• Overseeing all stages of network automation including prototyping, design, development, testing, releases, and post support, including continuous enhancements.
• Network certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, JNCIP-SP, or similar.
• Strong understanding and experience in troubleshooting methodologies.
• Demonstrated achievement in developing breakthrough solutions for challenging technical problems.
• Very strong collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to create and foster a collaborative work. In depth strong facilitation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

Job Duties:
- Assist network team in achieving automation initiatives in areas such as network provisioning and monitoring.
- Engineer tools and automation solutions to resolve operational complexities and proactively identify network roadblocks.
- Create monitoring dashboard to enhance the monitoring capabilities.
- Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
- Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic and coding changes.
- Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
- Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace.
- Partner with service providers and network hardware/software vendors to define solution configurations that leverage latest capabilities and provide stable and reliable operations.
- Define and implement service standards and practices that align IT services with the needs of the business. Define and monitor adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and industry best practices.
- Define key management reports required to validate global compliance with architecture, operations, and security standards, and identify automated ways of producing these reports.
- Identify reoccurring incidents and find solutions by leading support groups through root cause analysis sessions, major incident review, trending, elimination of known errors, problem ticket follows through, etc.
- Collaborate with other squads within the CIO organization on services and applications integration and optimization, advising on optimal use of resources to meet customer needs.
- Troubleshoot complex network performance issues with other network engineers to identify root cause and recommend solutions.
- Coach and mentor team members, peers, and clients on the execution of processes and procedures
