**Your Role and Responsibilities**
Draft sections of project kickoff slides, analysis plan, and file specification for Outcomes Research and Market Analytic projects.
Perform data analyses and pre-sale count requests utilizing IBM Treatment Pathways tool.
Research and pull medical code sets (ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, NDC, RXCUI, LOINC) required to perform administrative claims studies. Augment project specifications with this information.
Assist with quality checking for client deliverables.
Draft sections of study reports, technical memoranda, conference posters, podium presentations, and manuscripts.
Format client deliverables, develop posters using IBM or client templates, and assist with publication submission.
Support narrative/systematic literature review, value dossiers, and economic modeling projects by performing gray literature searches, screening title/abstracts and full-text articles for relevance, retrieving articles, and performing article abstraction.
Take minutes from internal and external project meetings.
Review and format inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Facility Target Reports for Market Analytics projects.
Coordinate and maintain internal medical code set library.
Other project-specific activities as directed by Research Leader/Manager.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
Bachelor's degree in health sciences or economics discipline.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with individuals at various levels within the organization.
Outstanding critical thinking, questioning, and listening skills; superior attention to detail
Time management skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously, while completing work within allocated time frames.
Experience using Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), DistillerSR, and Endnote.
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
Minimum 1 year previous work experience, preferably in the healthcare analytic field. Relevant graduate degree (e.g., MPH) may substitute for work experience.
Working knowledge of data storage in relational and or flat file environments and how data is manipulated using SAS, R, Python, or other programming languages
