What are the responsibilities and job description for the Programming Logic Controls position at IC Engineering, Inc.?
We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer to join our team!
Desired Experience:
- Allen Bradley PLC programming
- Wonderware System Platform development
- HMI/SCADA knowledge
- Process Historian experience/knowledge – OSI Pi for example
- Basic understanding of field instrumentation, discrete and analog I/O
- Control networks
- PID closed-loop control, feedback, and cascade
- Some DCS experience is preferable but not required
- Any SQL DB, Windows.NET programming/understanding is a PLUS!
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-year technical associates degree or 3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Possesses and demonstrates working knowledge of the methods and procedures of Controls Engineering and of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of these fields.
- Must always view safety as a value and be willing to comply with company policies and guidelines.
- Basic understanding of instrumentation, controls, control systems, safety systems and electrical equipment.
- Must be able to read and decipher electrical and control drawings.
- Must be able to get online with PLC and use as a troubleshooting tool.
- Basic computer skills for ordering materials, communication, entering equipment history, and email.
- Must be able to work as part of a team, willing to be mentored and trained, and be trustworthy and dependable.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
