POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled and experienced FileMaker Developer to join our remote team, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of a complex electronic health records solution (EHR) within an all-virtual server environment. The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in FileMaker development and a proven track record of working with a diverse range of third-party integrations. This role requires expertise in software development across development, QA, and production environments, along with a flexible, agile, and meticulous work approach. Ensuring patient safety and delivering a top-quality product to our customers are of paramount importance in this role.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
● Collaborate with a remote team to maintain and enhance a complex electronic health records solution (EHR) within a virtual server environment.
● Leverage advanced FileMaker development skills to design, develop, and optimize functionalities for the EHR system.
● Integrate third-party solutions seamlessly into the EHR system to enhance its capabilities and provide additional value to users.
● Establish and maintain software development processes across development, QA, and production environments, ensuring smooth and reliable software deployment.
● Demonstrate flexibility, agility, and thoroughness in addressing software development challenges and requirements.
● Maintain a keen focus on patient safety by adhering to industry best practices and delivering high-quality software solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
● Collaborate with IT teams to manage virtual environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
● Implement best practices in software development, including version control, testing, and deployment.
● Explore and implement new technologies to enhance the functionality and performance of the EHR system.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
● Minimum of five years of experience as a developer, with a focus on FileMaker development.
● SQL, MongoDB, XML, ANSI, HL7, JSON, REST APIs, Azure DevOps, JS/Node, cURL.
● Development experience in EHR/EMR solutions is a plus.
● Proficiency with current versions (v19 ) of the FileMaker Platform.
● Strong knowledge of related technologies, virtual IT environments, and software development principles.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with remote teams and stakeholders.
● Demonstrated reliability and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
CREDENTIALS:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
● Proven track record of software development projects
● Demonstrated experience in integrating third-party solutions and working in virtual server environments.
