Debenture Notes Payable Custodian

About the Job

iCap Equity is seeking a debenture notes payable custodian to perform different functions in ensuring proper and accurate reconciliation of its organization’s investor secured debt balances with cash transactions.  

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitor all banking activities in order to process secured debenture activity timely.
• Investigate all transactions from the Investor Relations team.
• Assist external auditors with documentation required for the auditors to do their job satisfactorily.
• Perform the reconciliation and verification of accounts regarding issuances and redemptions of notes.
• Reconcile and process transactions that are complex in nature.
• Maintain required files, reports, and data.
• Reconcile and rectify all ledger accounts belonging to investors.
• Follows up all transactions continuously and provide updates to the management.
• Prepare files for ACH’s, wires and check runs for payments to investors.
• Initiate ACH’s, wires and set up check runs for investors.
• Adhere to corporate standards and procedures in all reconciliation activities.
• Improve personal skill set regarding software proficiency, financial analysis, and data processing.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Degree in business administration would be an added advantage but not required.
  
• Demonstrate the required skills to perform detailed work accurately and promptly.
• Exemplify good communication skills and ability to communicate professionally with co-workers.
• Display problem-solving skill even under stressful conditions and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to manage own time and that of others effectively.
