Position Overview:

The DSM Program manager will act as the primary point of contact to existing Utility Customers for their assigned programs and will guide internal efforts at ICAST to ensure program goals are met. A successful candidate applying for this position will be up to date on technology and other innovations as pertinent to the utility markets ICAST serves so as to provide appropriate advice to ICAST and our Utility clients for optimal solutions and process improvements.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience managing Utility DSM Program(s)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess a deep understanding of utility rebate processes, especially custom rebate programs
  • Building Science Knowledge
  • Understanding of utility and 3rd party M&V programs
  • Understanding of Technical Resource Manuals and ability to converse with utility and stakeholders on energy savings methodology
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite of Products (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Innovative & Flexible
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Passionate about environmental, social, or non-profit work

Location: Remote in the U.S.A.

Reports to: Director of Program Management

Skill Level: Advanced

Areas of Expertise: Utility Industry, Energy Markets, Program Management, Project Management, Multi family programs

Compensation: DOE


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing relationships with utility companies, MF property owners and other stakeholders in developing and managing DSM Programs
  • Guiding and facilitating internal ICAST activities as necessary to meet assigned DSM Program goals
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for energy data, rebates, and other stakeholder requests to and from utility customers for assigned programs
  • Provide oversite for any TRM changes for custom DSM Programs
  • Developing reports for program updates, annual strategic plans, TRM updates, etc.
