The Digital Modernization Business Partner (DMBP) is THE trusted technology advisor for a specific revenue-generating division. As a key role within the enterprise CTO Office, a DMBP is matrixed to a business unit. As the DMBP, you will develop strong and influential relationships with delivery teams, partners, and other senior business leaders; to drive delivery of new and innovative digital capabilities and technologies to bring clients world-class solutions - in support of ICF's revenue growth and competitive position in the market. To accomplish this, you will also serve as the primary point of contact for the business' technology and digital needs and serve as a liaison to corporate services including the Chief Technology Officer's Office, Business Development, Innovation Services, and Strategic Partnerships as well as a bridge to establishing collaboration with other Operating Groups.
What you must have:
- BS or BA degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field
- 7 years of equivalent experience in information technology
- 5 years of Digital/IT leadership
- 5 years of experience supporting/collaborating with non-technically oriented teams (internal or client facing)
What we would like you to have:
- MS/MBA in related field
- Experience in Public Sector and/or Healthcare/Social Services industry
- Extensive professional experience as a sales-oriented engineer or architect (Technology Domain) with exposure to industry/vertical specific business units in the areas of Data, Application, and Cloud Modernization
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Technology advisor fully responsible for all Digital needs relevant to assigned business area and their growth strategy
- Provide strategic technology leadership, advice, support
- 'Advocate for change'; embed excellent digital planning, practice, and standards across the business unit
- Support technology-enabled bids - provide guidance and solutioning for technical approaches and best practices
- Identify opportunities for innovation on existing project portfolios
- Leverage our strategic technology ecosystem partners
- Drive cross-organization collaboration on strategic digital and technology initiatives and modernization efforts
- Translate complex technology challenges, architectures, and solutions for senior internal and external business stakeholders

- Feel comfortable both discussing strategy and roadmap as well as getting hands-on when required.
- Immersion in emerging digital trends and technologies; knowing how to bring new technology into the business environment.
- Extensive professional experience as a sales-oriented engineer or architect (Technology Domain) with exposure to industry/vertical specific business units in the areas of Data, Application, and Cloud Modernization
- 100% Remote position available, however , highly preferred for candidates in the DC Metro area, with a hybrid role of onsite as well as remote work.
- Less than 10% of travel required
