What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accessioner I position at ICONMA?
· Responsible for processing laboratory samples.
· Work with other laboratory employees to catalog patient specimens, like blood, urine, or tissue, for analysis.
· Work with blood.
· Lab professionals carry out diagnosis and treatment based on the samples received.
· Receives and triages all specimens for clinical testing.
· Manages clinical information within LIMS database.
· Performs internal audits of clinical charts.
· Collaborates with various departments to ensure testing accuracy.
Requirements
· High school diploma.
· Minimum of 6 months experience.
· AS or BS degree in biological sciences preferred.
· Proven attention to accuracy and deadlines.
