Principal Accountabilities In addition to following policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to: Strategy Anticipates and assesses the gaps between business needs and people systems/capabilities within their client departments. Assists the HR Manager with the development of HR initiatives in client departments related to staffing, retention. Assists the Plant Manager with purchasing processes when required. Collaborates with members of the HR Team across the system. Responsibilities: The human resource assistant is responsible for selecting qualified candidates through various job boards. Initial pre-screen interviews as well as pre-employment and onboarding processes. Must be able to fully comprehend and maintain HR records retention. Human Resource Assistant must have general experience working with FMLA, Workers Compensation, Unemployment, as well as Federal and State employment laws. Coordinate and conduct monthly safety training classes with all managers and hourly associates at the plant and ensure employees at the facility are adhering to the safety polices. Have strong attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Proficient in ADP HCM Vantage and Office programs - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
